To tell you a bit more about it, we are looking for you, Senior Software Engineer, to join our clients’ Core API Team in Munich, or 100% remote, where you will create the scalable application architecture and APIs that will provide content in an efficient and high-quality way.

The role:

• Construct microservices that are highly scalable and easily accessible by using current technologies such as TypeScript, Node.js, Scala, Kafka, AWS, GCP, Gitlab and more.
• Build robust GraphQL queries and REST APIs.
• Agile working method to support the development and diffusion of excellent engineering and organizational processes.
• Ensure that your services are running effectively in production and that technical debt, quality defects, and inefficiencies in the engineering process are consistently identified and addressed.
• Emphasis on learning, putting into practice, and extending industry-leading practices and to maintain raising the bar for delivering developer enjoyment and delivery speed for the team
• Follow software and streaming tech trends and implement what you learn to create new improvements and features that would please our customers. 

What are we looking for in you:

• Creating API and service architecture design, ideally using GraphQL or an equivalent technology
• Experience with TypeScript/Node.js, Scala, as well as other languages is a plus
• Having GCP cloud or AWS experience, particularly using auto-scaling and serverless technologies
• You work to improve the current code base's overall quality and maintainability.
• Degree from a university in media engineering, information technology, computer science or a related field
